How Our Shampoo Came to Life
When we finished developing our hair oil, I felt we had created something that truly worked. I was completely happy with it. At the same time, I knew that if someone was washing their hair with the wrong shampoo, even the best oil wouldn’t help.
I wanted the whole routine to make sense for every product to work together and complement the others. That was when I decided to create a shampoo that would be both gentle and effective, bringing our hair oil into perfect balance.
Six Formulas, Six Months of Testing
It started with a simple idea, but turned into six months of testing, fine-tuning and patience. I had six different shampoos developed, each with its own formula and texture. Each one had a different lather, consistency and scent.
I tested them one by one and involved my family, too. None of them knew which sample I had chosen, so their feedback was completely honest.
- I wanted to know everything:
- How the hair felt after washing.
- Whether it became oily too quickly.
- Whether it felt dry instead.
- How long the scent lasted.
- How the shampoo performed with regular use.
Six months of testing, notes, discussions and small adjustments.
Until one day, we all reached for the same bottle.
That was the moment I knew we had found the one.
Every Ingredient Has a Purpose
We chose Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate and Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate -> gentle, coconut-derived surfactants that cleanse the hair and scalp without irritation while helping maintain their natural balance.
Glycerin and Cetearyl Alcohol help keep hair hydrated and soft. Lauryl Glucoside and Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate create a rich lather without harsh cleansing ingredients.
I also added Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Biotin. A trio that strengthens hair, reinforces its structure and supports natural growth. To help keep the scalp healthy, the formula includes Tea Tree Oil for its antibacterial properties and Piroctone Olamine to help prevent dandruff.
A carefully balanced blend of natural oils provides nourishment and shine: olive, argan, coconut and evening primrose. Together, they create the perfect balance between cleansing and restorative care.
Tested with Heart, Proven in Everyday Use
Once I had the formula I liked best, I asked more people to test it. No one knew this particular sample was my favourite. The result? Everyone agreed it was the best.
It was a huge moment for me. Confirmation that when care, time and the desire to create something truly effective come together, the results speak for themselves.
